ALIR is governed by a Council of members comprised of eleven volunteers and elected to two-year terms, according to the by-laws.  Current Council members and Officers are Michael Burns (Chairman), Tom Colburn (Treasurer),
Linda Comeaux (Vice Chair/Marketing), Don Gadberry (Scholarships), Julia Lerma, Julie Nyren, Steve Rutledge,
Bernard Rauch, Paul Cavazos (Photographer), Anna Hoelting, and Estela Royal (Secretary).
